I’m Dee Sarikaya, and during my 10-year career I have helped multinational businesses such as Dyson and Land Rover UK, SMEs and individuals identify how marketing can enable them to achieve their objectives.

For me, it’s all about understanding what your customers want, what is right for your business and then creating strategies and implementation plans that deliver results in a simple and effective way.

Using research, I will help you to understand your audience and your business goals, developing key insights to devise a strategy that is completely tailored to you.

About Me

I’m a strategic marketing professional with demonstrable experience in formulating and executing marketing strategies and campaigns, working across traditional and digital media methods in order to help businesses and individuals meet their goals.

With 10 years’ marketing experience, I have worked across brand development, campaign management, product launches, entry into new markets and marketing strategy projects, both in-house and agency side. I am passionate about driving change through strong integrated communication and consumer insights, while assuring synergy between the online and offline world.

Before setting up DS Marketing, as an in- house marketing professional I worked with household brands such as Nuaire, Dyson and Principality Building Society as Global Marketing Manager, Senior Brand Manager and Commercial Manager, both at national and international level. On the agency side, I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with the likes of Land Rover UK, Tesco Bank, Oxfam and the Ministry of Defence.

I’m lucky to have been recognised for my work throughout my career. My most recent achievements include:

“Best product launch” at the B2B Marketing Awards 2019.
“Best use of creative” at the B2B Marketing Awards 2019.
“Best product launch” at the Construction Marketing Awards 2019.

My roles have always been ‘end to end’, which means that I was responsible for everything from the marketing strategy, product pricing, marketing communications and channel delivery to working on joint business plans with the likes of John Lewis and Currys.

I have been able to work on some high profile projects, and have enjoyed the opportunity to travel and experience a range of cultures over the years. I have also been able to learn new marketing techniques from my international colleagues, something that I have found extremely beneficial.

At the end of 2019 I decided to step into the world of freelancing, and I set up DS Marketing to be able to flexibly support individuals and businesses of all sizes with their marketing requirements. My approach is to be a seamless extension of your organisation, where a marketing professional is needed but the time and resource to do it ‘in house’ isn’t available.
